Wow it's already the 7th and I'm super behind on this, so here goes...

Personal Updates

Overall it has been an okay month. My spouse and I went over to visit St. Augustine, FL - which was alright. It was a bit touristy for us, but, overall it was a nice trip.

I did finally pick up journaling again. Sometimes the entries are pretty short but I try and force myself to do it every day even if it is. Plus it give's me an excuse to use my new pen!

I've been slowly buying some new clothes as well which is something I haven't done in a while. I don't really like to buy "fast fashion" type stuff so I tend to look around other places and I'm super picky.

I have been combatting a lot of brain fog in the last few weeks which has sucked because it's really slowed me down in places.

Health Updates

I didn't totally follow through with my goal of no alcohol. I did, however, manage to cut back a lot. I plan on carrying that momentum forward though because I like it more when I don't consume it.

I have actually finally started to pick up on biking more. I'm starting to rebuild a solid baseline pace on my road bike and really starting to enjoy it again. I'm hoping in the next few weeks I can push my target goal from 45 miles to 50 miles a week. Right now I'm floating at just under an hour for 15 miles.

I didn't do much inline skating in April. I'm still pretty wobbly on those but definitely getting better. I need to find a better place to practice though.

Going into May I'll be shifting over pretty strictly on my diet. I've lost most of the weight I needed to but just can't get the last bit of my belly/love handles gone. So, it's time to get strict on it!

Work Updates

Still trudging along at the same place. Trying to finish up some FOSS contributions before I start checking out.
